Sanford Pediatric Therapy & Community Service

Theraplay has been based in Sanford since 2008. We are thrilled to call Sanford and Lee County our home and to provide much needed pediatric therapy services, including speech & language therapy, occupational therapy and feeding therapy for children and families in the region. We love our conveniently located facility on Chatham Street in downtown Sanford, close to Depot Park, restaurants, shops, entertainment, and of course, train tracks!

Have we mentioned how much we LOVE Sanford? How many cities the size of Sanford have their own hospital, civic center, airport, daily newspaper, performing arts theatre, community college and robust downtown area that is well over a dozen blocks in size? We’d like to think that our brick building facility does a great job of adding to the flavor of the downtown, while also providing our kids with a fun and inviting space.

Theraplay is also proud to be playing a small part in the amazing growth and renaissance of Sanford. Our founder Jeanine Morton is a board member with the Sanford Area Growth Alliance (SAGA) and volunteers for other activities in town. It was a great honor when Jeanine was named as the Sanford Area Growth Alliance Small Business Owner of the Year for 2016.

Occupational Therapy

Pediatric occupational therapy plays a key role in helping children on their path to becoming functioning and flourishing individuals through emphasis on cognitive skills, motor skills, social skills and self care.

Speech & Language Therapy

Pediatric speech-language pathologists and speech therapists evaluate and treat children who have challenges with speaking, language comprehension, communication, developmental disorders or physical limitations.

We are very pleased with our Speech Therapist, Miss Holly. She is so positive and kind to our daughter. We love that she explains what our daughter is working on after each session. I absolutely love the staff and all they offer. I never feel rushed nor over looked. Every visit they make us feel like we are top priority. My 3 & 4 year old get excited as soon as we turn on Chatham Street. I couldn’t ask for a friendlier place for our 2 little ones and in just a few sessions I see an improvement.
