Theraplay’s licensed pediatric therapists have had the privilege of working with several special needs children and their families from Moore County communities such as Pinehurst, Southern Pines, Whispering Pines. Carthage, Vass and Cameron over the years. Many families have found it to be worthwhile to take the short, easy drive to Sanford, for the high quality, collaborative pediatric therapy care that is provided at Theraplay.

At Theraplay, we have a passion for working with special children; providing speech & language therapy, occupational therapy and feeding therapy services. Pediatric developmental therapy allows trained therapists to integrate a full range of skills, such language, emotional, motor and conceptual, to help children in all areas of their development.

I absolutely love the staff and all they offer. I never feel rushed nor over looked. Every visit they make us feel like we are top priority. My 3 & 4 year old get excited as soon as we turn on Chatham Street. I couldn’t ask for a friendlier place for our 2 little ones and in just a few sessions I see an improvement. I wanted to let you know that we’re getting a lot of positive feedback from Lucas’s teachers. They said that he is “talking” all day now and starting to interact more with his classmates. We’ve noticed that he’s really attempting a lot more words at home. He still has a way to go but it is nice to see the improvement. We wanted to say thanks.
