Karen Diaz
Karen was born in Cuba and raised in South Florida. She is a graduate of the University of Central Florida and received her Master’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in Speech-Language Pathology. During her clinical rotations, she has had the opportunity to work in various environments such as the school setting and the outpatient setting with children and adults. Karen has experience working with children with autism and developmental delays, as well as those that use augmentative and alternative forms of communication. She has a passion for working on language and Augmentative and Alternative communication and is bilingual (English/Spanish). In her free time she enjoys participating in faith based activities, baking, watching Korean dramas and musicals and spending time with her cats.
